Aircons in the rooms?Since we are a solar camp there are no aircons in the rooms. There are however fans. The thatch roof and concrecte floors keep the chalets cool!

Is there a fully equipped kitchen for each chalet?No, there is a small mini boma area for each chalet with a braai place and a two-plate gas stove. No ovens/microwaves. Remember we are off the grid!

Is there a river at the lodge?Yes, Malilule Main Camp is situated on the Monomohlape river. The river is seasonal and normally runs from January-August depending on the rainfall. The river normally dries up during South Africa's winter / spring months.

Does Malilule offer game drives?Yes, game drives can be booked at an additional cost

A few friendly suggestions:If you do self-catering bring your own ice and a cooler box. Each chalet will have a minibar fridge (which is NOT stocked), but bringing ice - certainly is advisable. Malilule Safaris supplies cutlery, crockery and utensils. Each chalet has an allocated outside boma area - where you can light a fire and braai "barbeque" as well a 2 plate gas stove. Please note, if you are doing self-catering: There are no ovens/microwaves available. The mini boma areas consist of a fireplace as well as a 2-plate gas stove. Please bring along all food, snacks, drinks, sauces, salt and pepper, ice Initial start-up wood will be provided on the first night. Thereafter, wood will be for sale at the lodge. Bring along firelighters and matches. The lodge is situated 5km from the main gate. The drive from the main gate to the lodge is through the game farm on a well-maintained gravel road There is a newly built swimming pool at the main deck at Malilule. There is a small splash pool at Malilule situated on one of the shared decks and can be used by all guests. Chalets will be serviced daily. Since we are on a game farm and we 1respect nature, as well as other guests - no loud music /talking is allowed. Please respect this. When no game drives are scheduled, guests are more than welcome to enjoy the complimentary buffalo feeding twice a day. There is limited reception at the camp - please use WhatsApp / WhatsApp call if you cannot reach us at normal reception. You will need to phone the property once you arrive at the main gate. If you are not going to have signal/reception please let the property know BEFORE CHECK in! Please ensure that you have read the email regarding payments.
